Yes, tagged. I got tagged on my xanga and forgot to do it so I will be answering two tags today. I am kind of excited because until the past month or so I'd never been tageed and although I thought it was dumb, I secretly envied those who were tagged.
1. One book that changed your life?
The Knowledge of the Holy by A.W. Tozer. Amazing book, put me in my place.
2. One book you've read more than once?
Since "How Dinosaurs Count to Ten" doesn't count, I will say F. Scott Fitzgerald's "The Great Gatsby." Also a really good book
3. One book you would want on a desert island?
I think I will have to be a good Moody girl and say my Bible. :)
4. One book that made you laugh?
ummmm....this is a hard one but I guess it would have to be "Where the Wild Things are!"
"Let the Wild Rumpus Begin!"
5. One book that made you cry?
"Night" by Elie Weisel. Read it, you will cry too. I think I cried with "The Picture of Dorian Grey" too. That's oscar Wilde
6. One book you wish had been written?
Can God make a Rock so Big he Can't Lift it (and other unanswerable questions regarding the nature of God) By anyone in the Holy Trinity.
7.One book you wish had never been written?
Maybe Olson's "What in the World is God Doing" or "From Jerusalem to Irian Jaya". dry dry dry.
8. One book you are currently reading?
I have not been a very good reader lately but I am soon finishing "Cashflow Quadrants" by Robert Kiyosaki.
9. One book you have been meaning to read?
C.S. Lewis "Mere Christianity"
10. Now tag five ppls.
Jack, Karen, Samm, Judy, Kathrine

where the wild things are is one of my all time favorite books. I made myself not choose any children's books for my tag. Simply because I have read some of them more than 100 times--not fair to my favorite adult books.
I love Charlie and the Chocloate Factory (Rohald Dahl), Charlotte's Web, Little House in the Big Woods, Alice in Wonderland, and the list goes on.
Oh, can't forget: The 12 Dancing Princesses.
Hey I like Rohald Dahl books too. =) I think that we also have How Dinosaurs Count to Ten, CLASSIC!
I said on Sadie's blog that if I had been tagged my answer to #1 and #3 would have been the Bible and I wish the Bible was my answer to #2! Instead of wishing I'm going to seriously get on that!! Well in fact the Bible could be my answer to all of the questions except for #6 and #7, HA!
hahahahhaha you said Rumpus!
I know . . . rumpus . . . great word. My answer to #2 could have been the Bible but I had to choose only one question to look like a dorky Moody on. we had to read the whole Bible our freshmen year and I once did a through the Bible in a year thing where I read most of it. All that to say that I probably don't have any better of a grip on the Bible than you do, so don't worry if it is not your answer to #2
what's a "Moody"?
haha A Moody Bible Instiute Student or Alum
Yay for Moody and for Moody's!!! =o)
